Giving something back to those who give to others – our support for the community

Touch Design is a business rooted in our local community, proud of our Nottingham city heritage, with our work made possible through the support of colleagues, their families and friends, and by our clients, both local and further afield. We exist on conversations, connections and communications, both in the workplace and in the streets and communities where we live. We survive and thrive based on all the people we know and love who surround us.

It is for those reasons that we choose to provide some local businesses and voluntary organisations with pro bono support throughout the year. Whether people still call it corporate social responsibility or environmental social governance, the term does not matter, the thought and action does. We get to help some amazing organisations, offering different creative challenges for our team, and the organisations benefit from brand and design work that helps elevate their profile to audiences they need to connect with.

In our latest CSR act, we have provided design support to Life Skills Education, producing a series of designed Canva templates so they can generate their own social media content appealing to fund-raisers. Life Skills Education have three decades’ experience of developing and delivering prevention education programmes to young people in school. Their programmes help young people manage risk by making informed, constructive and assertive decisions, reducing the impact of risky behaviours. Such is the prestige of their work, that the organisation is the ‘leading provider of prevention education in the UK’.

You can also join the Team Touch running community at a 10k run in Sherwood Pines, Nottinghamshire, in March if you’re feeling more active. We’ll be running for Life Skills Education, to get some fresh air and exercise, and raise more funds to support their inspirational work.
