Following on from the success of our last Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) workshop in May 2026, where we considered the topic of ‘less is more’ in design, we are returning with our CIPR collaborators to deliver a workshop on accessibility in communications.
This latest lunchtime webinar - ‘Accessible design: what you need to know’ takes place on Tuesday 23 June, from 1pm to 2pm and booking is now open.
This interactive session will ensure your designs reach everyone, with no limits. We’ll cover visual accessibility, colour contrast checks and alt text best practices to produce creative solutions that enhance usability.
With a case study, top tips and a live Q&A, this session is your chance to understand how accessibility is an integral part of the design process.
Having sufficient knowledge and being able to commission or carry out accessible design practices is hugely important in communicating to all your audiences. It directly affects who can use your content, how well it performs and whether it meets ethical and legal expectations.
The webinar will be chaired by communications lead, Kelly Quigley-Hicks, from the Association of Electoral Administrators.
