Here at Touch Design, we often proudly state that we aim to create campaigns that benefit society. Our purpose being to work with clients to ‘design campaigns that create real societal impact, are visually powerful, empathetically driven and strategically aligned.’

That purpose, to hopefully help make the world a better place, is no better evidenced than our support for the Lexi’s Letter campaign.

Lexi wanted her words to reach beyond her own hospital room. She worked closely with Touch Design as the creative director for an animated version of her letter, helping shape how her story would be shared.

Following her death in September 2025, Lexi’s parents completed the project on her behalf. The animation is narrated by her sister, Ella, and has since reached hundreds of clinicians, students and allied health professionals across the UK, changing how they think about the experiences of the patients they care for.

On Thursday 15 October, 1pm, a one-hour webinar is being hosted for clinicians, health communicators, patient experience teams and anyone working to improve how the NHS listens to and communicates with young patients. It brings together the people behind Lexi’s Letter and those who are already putting it into practice, exploring what happens when a patient’s voice is truly heard. Creative director Scott will be joining from Touch Design.
